Applying Big Stretch:
1. Cut spout at an angle to desired opening size
2. Use caulk gun. Apply to surfaces between 40° F and 120° F. For
best results, apply to dry surfaces free of oil, frost, dirt, and loose material.
3. Smooth to a perfect bead with a wet sponge, or finger.
4. Allow 24 hours before exposure to water (2-3 days in cold or humid weather).
Useful Tip:
If rain is expected within 24 hours, cover unprotected areas with plastic sheeting.

Applying Lexel:
1. Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be structurally sound and free of
dirt, oil, release agents or other residues. It may be applied to wet surfaces,
however, for best results apply on clean, dry surfaces.
2. Application: Use caulk gun. Cut spout to desired bead size. Puncture inner
seal. Apply when surface temperature is between 10°F and 120°F. Surfaces
below freezing should be free of frost. Large beads applied in warm temperature,
95°F or hotter, may exhibit slight bubbling. This is due to the solvents trying
to escape too quickly through the surface of the skin, but overall performance is
not impaired.
3. Tooling: Exposed beads may be tooled by dipping finger in soapy water.
Let finger "float" lightly over the lumps to smooth the bead out.
4. Repair: Repair of previously applied material may be done at any time.
Newly applied Lexel will actually weld itself to the previously applied material.
5. Painting: Allow Lexel to cure 24-48 hours before painting with latex paints.
Allow double cure time in temperatures less than 40°F. Lexel must cure 30 days
before applying oil-based paints; otherwise the paint surface will remain tacky
for 2 weeks or more, depending on temperature and paint brand.
6. Cleaning: Surfaces, tools and hands may be cleaned with orange-based cleaners,
mineral spirits or paint thinner. (If using mineral spirits or paint thinner, be
sure to wash your hands with soap to remove residual cleaning solvent.)
7. Storage: If there is product left-over in the container when finished,
wrap the entire nozzle in Saran Wrap® or aluminum foil and tighten
with a rubber band. (NOTE: Polyethylene wraps will not keep the adhesive from curing
in the nozzle. Saran Wrap® works best.)

Applying Mor-Flexx:
1. Insert cartridge into a standard 2" caulk gun, cut nozzle to desired opening.
2. Gun Mor-Flexx into the crack and work it into the sides with a scraper
or other tool for complete sealing and adhesion; repeat until filled.
3. Smooth out exposed filled area with a foam paintbrush, sponge or scraper,
making it flush with the joint.
4. Natural shrinkage will give the seal a concave appearance; more applications
may be needed to fill the joint flat.
5. If painting is desired, wait at least one day after the last application.
6. Clean-up tools and hands with warm water and soap.
7. Leftover Mor-Flexx can be stored if the nozzle is tightly wrapped with
plastic wrap and a rubber band.
Helpful Application Tips
Mor-Flexx, and all water-cleanup products, cure by water evaporation. Temperatures
below 40°F, humidity higher than 50%, no direct sunlight, and the size of the
filled area can all affect the time Mor-Flexx needs to fully cure. Mor-Flexx can
be applied in damp areas, but should not be exposed to rain until cured. Alcohol
and/or water in a spray bottle may be used to slow skinning (the initial drying
of the exposed joint area) above 70°F (21°C) or in hot, direct sunlight.

Applying Through The Roof:
Brush-grade should be applied between 1/8" and 1/4" thick. Make sure it is worked
well onto the surface so good contact is achieved. For the cartridge grade, a 1/4"
bead is a minimum. (You need enough sealant mass to stretch and compress with roof
movement.) Embed a seam sealing tape in Through The Roof!� for repairing
large holes and cracks.
Tooling is the process of smoothing out the caulk bead to ensure good contact with
the surface and a good appearance. �Float� lightly over the bead as pressing hard
will remove too much sealant. A small putty knife with mineral spirits may be used
to tool over the bead. We recommend a 10% soap solution to aid tooling if using
your finger.
